This is on the way home from Slade's basketball game. They had some cookies, as you can see from G's face. We had fun! They played, ate, fought, & played some more!
The best part of the weekend was going out to Kyle's shop. They began by playing in the dirt and then some water was involved and it got a little crazy!!!
Finley and Campbell were the diggers and Gunnar was the water man. I filled a big bowl with water and he would bring the cup to me, I would fill it, and he would take it back to the girls and dump it in the hole. I bet he made 35 trips back and forth!
Slade came in at the end and began throwing mud at everyone. Thank you, nine year old boy! It's a good thing that we have a shower at the shop, because we did an assembly line wash on all four of them just so they could get into the car to go home! Gunnar went home in a diaper, F & C went home in nothing but a towel, and Slade wore a pair of Kyle's shorts! Then after we got home, we did a deep cleaning! They were like little dirty pigs!!!
"Mom, why are you out of water for my cup?"What's the point of being a kid if you can't play in the mud? Cheapest fun these four have had in a really long time!
