Tonight I was standing in the kitchen covering Kyle's leftover birthday cake. I could hear Kyle and the kids in the bedroom. All three of them were in our bed-the kids were jumping and wrestling with Kyle. He didn't know I was listening to them. I heard Kyle say to them, "When you guys were born, I didn't know how much I would love you." I mean, really, does life get any sweeter than that?
Then my moment was ruined ten minutes later when Slade ran into the living room and slapped Finley on the top of the head. Kyle spanked him and everyone cried. It was time to call it a day.
